Happy August, fellow readers! Are you getting in a lot of summer reading?
I’m still woefully behind, as has become usual for me 🙂 And I had an e-reader mishap, in the bargain–somehow An Extraordinary Union got reset back to the first page, and I have no idea where I was! I suppose I’m going to have to start that one over, but the first half was so good I don’t think I mind too much.
I’ve also begun reading Darcy Burke’s novella To Love a Thief, which has been languishing in my TBR for nearly 7 years! So progress is being made, and my working/writing schedule has become less frantic for a bit so I’m confident that this progress will continue, at least for a while 🙂
Well, Cora, I went to the literacy signing in NY a couple of weeks ago and added greatly to my TBR stack! I met some really nice authors & reconnected with some I had met 4 years ago! I actually talked to some of the authors on my Cora TBR list. LOL. I haven’t progressed on reading that list since last time, but I am ahead of my GR challenge, and currently at 104 books for the year! I still have hopes for completing the challenge. My daughter is leaving on Friday. 😦 I will have more reading & gym time, but I will miss her! PS I’m reading a Darcy Burke novella recommended on Carol’s Rakes and Rascals blog – A Kiss for Midwinter.

That’s one good thing that came out of me missing RWA this year–no giant pile of books to take home with me 😉 It sounds like you had a good time, though, and you’re rocking your GR challenge!

I’m planning on going to the one in Nashville, in 2022. I’m sure I will be mailing books home! LOL
