Seven months down, readers. How much progress have you made on your TBR Challenge?
I’ve been a bad reader so far this year, and have made zero progress on my TBR goal. I’m still stuck at 1 TBR book read, while my Purchased In 2017 shelf has grown to 36! Oops 🙂
I’m at Romance Writers of America’s national conference this week learning, all kinds of good stuff about the business and craft of writing romance. And I’m finishing up The Good, The Bad, And The Scandalous (which releases August 17!). Once those two items are checked off my list, I’m going to spend a couple of weeks reading and binge-watching all the movies I’ve missed this year. Then perhaps my TBR Challenge total will be a bit higher…and I’ll finally get to see Wonder Woman!

I’ve read 26 books to date this year but I’ve added a further 24 since 1 January. So effectively I’ve only cleared 2 books off my priority list!! Not going too well.

I had a wonderful time at RWA this year! Heading home and back to reality today…and my sad little TBR total for the year, lol. Perhaps August will be the month we read far more than we buy!

I finished Mackenzies & McBrides and just finished the 2nd Cynster book. I have only read 2 of my prize books, so I am disappointed in that regard. I have read 68 books for the year, so far. Have fun at the conference, Cora! If you come when it is in NY in 2 years, I will look you up!
